Enjoy your journey from Kuala Penyu jetty which
the journey will take about 2 ½ hours from Kota
Kinabalu and 20 minutes ride on the boat until you
reach to the destination, Pulau Tiga.

Pulau Tiga is one of a group of small uninhabited
Malaysian islands in Kimanis Bay off the western
coast of Sabah. The island's claim to fame is none
other than being the first ever 'secret' location
for the hit reality series, 'Survivor'. Hence,
many refer to Pulau Tiga as Survivor Island. It
was formed on 21 September 1897, when an
earthquake on Mindanao volcanic eruption near
Borneo. The island is 607 hectares in size and has
a couple of active mud volcanoes at the highest
part of the island. Pulau Tiga is one of the three
islands that make up Pulau Tiga National Park.

The Park Headquarters are on the island,
comprising an office complex and accommodation for
the park staff and visiting scientists. The other
2 islands beside Pulau Tiga are Pulau
KalampunanBesar& Pulau KalampunanDamit. Enjoy
your
time there either you want to explore the island,
jungle trekking, bath with the mud volcanoes or go
for snorkeling at the sand pit of Snake Island
(optional).
